Sending warm vibes to all of you out there dealing with the cold, snow, ice storms and just general yucky weather. The weather reports look pretty dismal for a lot of folks.
So here's hoping you have someone warm to snuggle up with, plenty of good books to read, music to listen to and great stories to tell.
Things to do when your power is out:
- go to someplace where they DO have power (LOL)
- make shadow designs on the wall using your candles
- share family stories, the really old funny kind
- eat everything melting in your freezer
- snuggle by the fire in your fireplace (if you have one!)
- sing, read, play games
- take pictures; who looks the worst not having a shower in several days???
- stop trying to use your microwave; it won't work!!
- drink and be merry-eat more melting food!!
Take care♥♥♥

Well, I love music. So it is no wonder that my faithful companion, Scoutster loves music too.
We happened to catch an American Idol show the other night. Since then, Scoutster has been determined that she wants to be a contestant on the show. And let me tell you, she can 'sing' really well. Every night she does her snoring sonata and it is something to hear, let me tell ya!!
So, I don't know when she will make it to the show....but she is lovin' watching the show. And she is a cutie pie and a really great companion....so I guess that makes her my 'american idol'!!

I like to reuse and recycle things whenever I can. So I found a great use for this old silverware tray that was hanging around the house. It is super for holding some of my craft supplies. The compartments are great and keep things in order. Plus it slides right under this metal shelf that I had that I wasn't using for anything. It's a good setup and the price is right!!!

I had my bead boxes stacked on top of each other. It was a real pain to move one box to get to another box underneath it. And it was difficult to really see what beads were in each box. I needed serious bead organization help!!

Now I know most of you beading folks probably have more sophisticated ways to keep your beads organized. I was looking for something inexpensive and this is what I came up with.

I purchased inexpensive letter trays that interlock and stack. Each bead tray slides perfectly in the trays. So now I can slide each one out and easily view the contents. I love it and it was an affordable way for me to get organized. Also purchased the grid system on the wall from the container store. It also helps out a lot. Hope this may give you some organization inspiration.

Have a great weekend.

'Ode to my Dremel'
So now I have a dremel, I use it everyday,
Oh, dremel, dremel, dremel, just can't put you away.
Who knew a little rotary tool could fill my heart with glee,
For now I drill, grind, sand and polish oh so merrily.
Even my dog Scoutster, thinks the dremel is sublime,
They like to snuggle up together when they have the time.
My dremel is a wonder, my dremel is a star,
I have to sing its praises to people near and far.
Dremel, dremel, dremel, you are a dream come true,
I simply can't imagine what I did without you!!

So, I've been crafting away here today. This is one of my new glass pendants. The Eiffel Tower. Since I refuse to get on an airplane, to travel to France, this is as close as I will get to it. Ha! That's just dandy by me. I can enjoy the image from here.
This is a new size glass I'm using and I really like the shape a lot. I like the oblong look. Well....best pack it in for today. Scoutster, the crafting companion is already snoring....the Scoutster sonata playing REALLY loud.

Many, many thanks to my friend Annie who is such a great help to me!! You are the best...♥♥♥

For music lovers who don't already know about it....and most probably do....there is a great place to hear some good music. Pandora.com. You can 'create' your own radio station and also discover some new artists along the way. So, tune it and happy listening...

So, I'm doing the 'happy dance' after having a fairly productive day....notice the word 'fairly'. Got some errands taken care of and unglued several objects from my studio floor that I had unintentionally glued there last night. I am a menace with the glue, but it comes with the territory what I do. So, off I go to see what mischief I can get into now.
Everyone have a great MONDAY tomorrow♥♥
